Per Ayurveda guidelines salt and milk together are treated as opposite foods
Milk is full of enzymes and salt breaks them down. When in digestion tract milk loses its bodily benefits if taken with salts and vice versa. Ayurveda treats them as opposites because while both have positive effects on the body, ingested together they basically cancel out each others benefits. Opposites do not attract is where I believe ayurveda is going with that. Research a little physiology.
