I have read that one should not eat fruits after a meal, since they turn out to be acidic and may lead to acidity. Eat fruits at least 2 hrs after the meal. It is best to eat fruits in the morning when the stomach is empty. If eaten on the meal it may even make digestion of meal improper.

So I currently eat fruits only in the morning. And it seriously gives very healthy feeling whole day.
  1. My question is that does this apply to all fruits?
  2. How can I decide whether it will be ok to eat a particular fruit after the meal?
  3. Especially I like to eat banana 1-2 hrs after the meal. Should I stop eating banana after the meal for the "best" health?
  4. Does the above first paragraph applies to banana equally?
