    Chickpeas or garbanzo beans are a good source of protein. They contain high protein but low fat as compared to chicken. So they provide high protein along with low fat as compared to meat. Research shows that having a good level of vitamin C in our blood can boost up the fat burning process during exercise and workouts. Chickpeas have a good amount of vitamin C, so they can be really a good supplement for a weight loss program.
