  • Is there any one week detox plan?

    Detoxing not only makes your skin glow and your eyes sparkle, but can also boost your immune system, increase your energy levels and help you shed those extra kilos.
    Today we bring you a detox plan that’ll help you cleanse your system, while also ensuring that your body is not short of nutrients- all in one week.

    P.S: You don’t have to drink nasty ‘detox’ drinks either.

    Day one: Today is a juice day. You will have nothing but fluids today. But don’t worry, you will not feel faint or tired at all during the day. On the contrary, you will feel energized.
    Drinking fresh fruit and vegetable juices throughout the day is recommended. They help regenerate and cleanse your system. Unsweetened herbal and spice teas are also lucrative options for today.

    Day two: Consume a lot of fluids, along with portions of fruits today. Fruits are alkaline in nature and thus help neutralize the acids in your body when you detox.
    Pineapples, oranges, and apples are great options. You can also add grapes, watermelon and mangoes in the list.

    Day three: Follow yesterday’s regime again today, with one change. Eat a raw vegetable salad for lunch and dinner. Try including the following in your salad today:

    • Parsley

    • Olives

    • Watercress

    Day four: Continue snacking on fruits and consuming a lot of water. Make a combination of cooked vegetables and boiled brown rice as one meal today. The other one must be a raw vegetable salad.

    Day five: Consume beans and lentils today apart from a cup of rice. But make sure you do not mix them with rice as that can slow digestion.
    Try keeping at least a two-hour gap between the two. You may eat the lentils and beans by stir frying them with salads or with steamed vegetables.

    Day six: Have some natural yogurt today for breakfast. Keep the rest of the diet same as the previous day.

    Day seven: Add proteins to your diet today. Fish is the best option here. If you don’t eat fish, try tofu instead.

    At the end of the week, you will notice a considerable difference in the quality of your hair and skin and feel relaxed and rejuvenated as well. Remember, consume a lot of fluids during these seven days. You can also undergo Panchakarma treatment to support the natural rhythms of the body and to remove toxins from the body. It helps boost the immune system and hence recommended for healthy person as well.
