  • How Ayurveda works and provide holistic health?

According the ancient text available, the effects of the five great elements - earth, water, air, fire and sky elements on humans is imperative, and the importance of keeping them balanced for a healthy and happy life have been described in these texts.
Some of these five elements have more effects on each and every person than that of the other elements. There are three combinations of doshas according to Ayurveda: Vata dosha, Pitta dosha, and kapha dosha

In ayurveda, these doshas not only make an impact on the physical structure of a person but also affects his instincts, mind and emotions. For example the people with kapha prakrity are usually overweight and the digestion is slower than that of other people. And the people with dominant Earth element have sharp memory and stable mind. With the understanding of our physical structure and the knowledge of nature, we can take necessary steps towards balancing these elements and keeping ourselves healthy.
