  • Antibacterial agents in ayurveda

    Hello everyone,

I was wondering what are some common antibacterials in ayurveda?

Is there specific fruits or vegetable that protect more against bacteria ?

    thanks in advance for sharing!

    Hi Marie,
I'm a huge fan of Neem, which has many properties, one of which is that it is anti-bacterial (as well as anti-viral). Neem oil or neem leaf/bark powder can be taken internally to get rid of pretty much any parasite. It's not recommended to take it over the long-term, though, as it is powerfully cleansing.
    Hope this helps!
