Livedo vasculitis is characterized by persistent painful red or purple ulcerations at the lower extremities. It occurs most commonly in middle aged women. There is a challenge to cure livedo vasculitis for modern science.

See one unique example in patients own words; my name is Miss Geeta Kachchhi, 31 years old, from Dombivali(Mumbai). I was a patient of livedo vasculitis with thrombosis since May 2002.
There was an ulcer seen around the ankle, first time on May 2002. Severe pain and reddishness was their. My family physician cans not diagnosed. Hence, I should have to consult skin specialist. He gave me higher antibiotics and it was subsided for temporary. However, some pain was remains. Hence, I consulted other skin specialist and done complete body check-up with color deplore of veins of the lower legs on 20 November, 2002. The color deplores showed thrombosis noted in Posterior Tibial veins in the distal leg on the right side. I consulted many other specialists to find complete cure of vasculitis, but the answer was ‘No…No…No…..!!!’
Every year I had to suffer with pain and ulcer from May to July!!! In-betweens, I was got some relief after taking Ayurvedic medicines since one year on 2006.
Hence, I consult Vaidyaraj Amrutbhai Prajapati and stared treatment from 29 April 2011. I had done fast and Panchakarma treatment as guided by Vaidyarajji. There is no pain or ulcer at all till today!!!
I had done venous color Doppler study of both lower limbs on 9 February, 2012, shows no evidence of DVT-Deep vein thrombosis in both lower limbs.

Jay Dhanvantary.
