summer is just a wonderful season with so much to offer, it is perfect time to enjoy vacations, swimming, sunbathing, icecreams and summer fruits.Summer season is called as Grishma Ritu in Sanskrit. This season falls under uttrayan kala (Northern solistice). According to Ayurveda, the sun moves towards northern solistice in uttarayan Kala. During this period sun absorbs the moisture and mild qualities of earth. It also takes away the strength and energy of living beings due to which it is also called as Adana (To take away) Kala (Time)
