RITUCHRYA: Ayurveda prescribes a seasonal routine to preserve the doshic balance as the seasons changes. In Ayurvedic literature the year is divided into six ritus (seasons) – varsha(mansoon), shsarath (autumn),hemanth(winter), shishir(late winter), greeshma(summer) and vasantha(spring).For each season there is a unique diet, a distinct mode of living and routine living. These keeps your doshas in a state of equlibrium and help you cope with the stress and strains of changing seasons.
